Sing a Song of Selby
Watch local school children sing a song of Selby.
Sing a Song of Selby was a singing and song writing project with young people from primary schools in Selby District. They got involved with a number of workshops discussing histories and reminiscences from the area. The children wrote and performed their own songs based on stories about Selby, working with Sam Dunkley from Performing Arts etc.
This first film shows songs from Selby Community Primary School and Selby Abbey Primary School, written in Winter 2021 and recorded in March 2022.
