A series of activities, events and initiatives to showcase what the region can offer residents and visitors alike will take place across the region and throughout the year.
As difficult as the past few years have been there is now particular attention directed towards enjoying days out and holidaying in the UK and we have an unprecedented opportunity. There is now an audience that has discovered the simple pleasures of simply getting outside and exploring somewhere new, be that a local park or common ground, or venturing further to nature reserves and local trails.
By educating and inspiring these audiences to explore somewhere new, yet familiar, we can grow the interest in everything on offer across the Heart of Yorkshire and put ourselves on the map. With it's unique character, heritage, history, local suppliers and varied accommodation options, now is the best chance for the region to really stand out, change perceptions and develop new audiences.
We want to work together to showcase what our area can offer residents and visitors and we want to provide a collective voice for businesses working in the visitor and cultural economy.
