Carlton Towers in the civil parish of Carlton, 5 miles south-east of Selby, North Yorkshire, England, is a very large Grade I listed country house, in the Victorian Gothic-revival style, and is surrounded by a 250-acre park.

With 16 bedrooms, each named after family ancestors, you can stay in this unique setting in the main house or in one of the cosy cottage rooms in the grounds.

If you like fine dining, Carlton Towers is ideal.  They offer special dining experiences throughout the year, special tasting events, cookery school classes, private dining and there is also Stables tearoom; selling an array of homemade bakes and tasty treats.  The tearoom is open Friday to Monday from 10am – 4pm.

The tearoom overlooks the wonderful walled garden vineyard where the estate make their own wines.  You can indulge in afternoon tea, a vineyard talk with cream tea fizz or ‘Dine in the Vines’ with a walled garden vineyard BBQ.

Of course, Carlton Towers is a great backdrop to any celebration and they offer a unique space for your wedding; whether that be in the house, at the lakeside or in the wonderful vineyard.

The house is available for exclusive hire for weddings, private parties, meetings and events or for film or tv productions.

The estate runs a number of special events throughout the year such as themed dinners and shows and historic guided tours.
