The Maltings Tearooms is located in South Milford along the A162 Sherburn bypass within the grounds of Milford Plants, a lovely quirky gardening centre run by Phil and his amazing team.

Husband and wife team (Stuart & Lesley) run the tearooms supported by their amazing team and family. They offer a wide range of hot and cold food/drink and even have their own house blend coffee which is roasted locally exclusively for them.

The Maltings Tearooms has a vast selection of sweet treats including cakes, brownies, flapjack, and shortbread, which are all homemade on site.

The Maltings Tearooms believe that coffee is a fresh product and should be treated like one. Coffee beans taste good for two months after roasting but in the first two weeks a great coffee tastes magical. Some store-bought beans can spend months or years on a shelf before being consumed. Beans here are roasted to order. Our coffee is roasted the morning after we place the order and delivered that afternoon and this ensures that the coffee in your cup is as fresh as you can get!

During the school holidays the tearooms operate lots of FREE activities for the children, from planting with Milford Plants to baking and face painting (our Facebook page is regularly updated on events)

The Maltings Tea Rooms also host an annual FREE pumpkin carving event during the Halloween holidays.

A car boot sale is hosted at the site on every 2nd Sunday and 3rd Saturday each month.

The Tea Rooms has a large outdoor area for seating and lots of outdoor toys to keep the children busy for hours.
