Walking
There are nature trails in abundance at Hollicarrs. Whether you are looking for a gentle stroll, or a more energetic walk over a longer distance, walking trails have been carefully carved out among the trees around the lodge park, leading you through bluebell dells, primrose banks, past our bird hide to spot the wildlife and natural ponds teaming with life.
If you prefer to cover a couple of miles, why not walk through the woods to Skipwith Common Nature Reserve, a site of special scientific interest. This route takes you past the lovely Norman Church in Skipwith and the Drovers Arms is only a slight detour.
Tennis
The hard tennis court is flood lit enabling play throughout the year.
Fishing
The fishing lake at Hollicarrs is within easy walking distance of the lodge park and provides a sheltered, well stocked lake. Fishing platforms have been designed around the area for easy access including disabled areas for wheelchair users.
Bowling Green & Petanque Courts
A well-maintained grass green for expert or beginners play.
Hollicarrs offer a range of two- and three-bedroom lodges for hire, all with private hot tubs.

Hollicarrs provides whatever pace you prefer, with plenty of activities, or you can simply stroll around the park and take in the peace and tranquility. On site you will find a tennis court, petanque terrains, bowling green and woodland walks in abundance.
Hollicarrs is really well placed for cycling and offers cycles for hire. The Sustrans Cycle track is situated only a 1/4 mile away from Hollicarrs, offering cycle only routes into Selby Town or the City of York, perfect for seeing the area at your pace without any traffic worries.
Hollicarrs is perfectly situated to easily access all of what Yorkshire has to offer, such as the ancient city of York, the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the East Coast. There are also many local golf clubs and fitness clubs nearby.
